<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode plate for lead acid storage battery that further improves discharge performance of the negative electrode plate for lead acid storage battery, and the lead acid storage battery using the negative electrode plate. <P>SOLUTION: A negative electrode active material contains, as essential components, barium sulfate, lignin, salt of a naphthalene sulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate, a bisphenols-sulfonic acid-formaldehyde condensate. Preferably, the salt of the naphthalene sulfonic acid formaldehyde condensate is added by ≥0.05 pts.mass for 100 pts.mass lead powder during preparation of negative active material paste, the mass mixing ratio of the lignin and bisphenols-sulfonic acid-formaldehyde condensate is 8:2-2:8, and the lignin and bisphenols-sulfonic acid-formaldehyde condensate are added by ≥0.05 pts.mass in total for the 100 pts.mass lead powder during the preparation of the negative active material paste. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
