<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper device excellent in draining and closing properties as well as downsized, and to provide a refrigerator including the damper device. <P>SOLUTION: The damper device includes a frame having an opening, a plate-like opening/closing body for opening/closing the opening, and a driving unit for driving the opening/closing body around a driving shaft. The opening/closing body includes a first side and a second side arranged along the driving shaft as well as arranged to interpose the driving shaft.
