<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of operating an opposed firing boiler device operable in the stable state all the time and the opposed firing boiler device. <P>SOLUTION: This coal firing tower boiler device 1 includes a coal firing boiler 10 constituted by arranging a plurality of burners 3 to which fuel and primary air are supplied and a plurality of two-stage combustion ports 13 through which secondary air is made to pass on a can front wall 11 and a can rear wall 12 opposing to each other. In the method of operating the coal firing tower boiler device 1, amounts of secondary air supplied to inside of the coal firing boiler 10 via the two-stage combustion port 13FL on the can front left side, the two-stage combustion port 13FR on the can front right side, the two-stage combustion port 13RL on the can rear left side and the two-stage combustion port 13RR on the can rear right side positioned on right and left sides in the wall width directions of the can front wall 11 and the can rear wall 12, respectively are made to vary in accordance with a load condition, so as to constrain fluctuation of a combustion gas flow S in the can width direction in the coal firing boiler 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
