<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a topical suspension composition of nepafenac. <P>SOLUTION: The composition is especially suitable for topical ophthalmic administration. For example, the composition is a topically administrable ophthalmic composition, and the composition essentially comprises: (a) 0.09-0.11% (w/v) nepafenac; (b) 0.4-0.6% (w/v) carbomer; (c) a nonionic surfactant; (d) a tension modulator of the amount enough to give a weight osmol concentration of 250-350 mOsm/kg to the composition; (e) a pH adjuster of the amount enough to give pH of 7.0-7.8 to the composition; and (f) water.
