The system has a medium-voltage switchgear (7) with an active portion (8) arranged in a gas chamber (17) of a gas-insulated transformer (5) or a supplementary gas chamber (9) attached to the switchgear. A medium voltage terminal (10) of the switchgear is connected to a gas-insulated active component (2) of the transformer. The switchgear, low-voltage distribution board, lifting device, housing portions, draining channels (13), cooling elements (14) and blowing lattices (15) of gases of interfering light arc are arranged in receiving elements and/or supporting elements of the active portion.
