<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable wireless device which suppresses the occurrence of unnecessary resonance caused by a notch of a conductive member used for securing the strength without providing a special sheet plate as a measure, even when the thickness reduction of the device and securing the strength are conducted at the same time. <P>SOLUTION: A second hinge 11, which rotatably connects a second housing 102 and a third housing 103, is electrically connected to a conductive member 10, which has a notch 10a at a position where a signal cable 120 passes, so that the second hinge 11 spans the notch 10a of the conductive member 10.
