The exchanger has a heat exchanger chamber through which coolant flows, where aggregate state of the coolant is changed from one phase to another phase. A phase switch (12) is arranged in an inflow region of the heat exchanger chamber such that the former phase of the coolant is guided into the heat exchanger chamber and the latter phase is guided over a bypass (13) to an exhaust region of the heat exchanger chamber. A heat transfer medium flows through a heat exchanger pipe i.e. stainless steel corrugated pipe. An independent claim is also included for a coolant circuit comprising a compressor and a heat exchanger.
