<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door handle device for a vehicle, which is easily assembled and has high detection accuracy of a capacitance sensor. <P>SOLUTION: For the door handle device for the vehicle, the capacitance sensor 4 is housed in a hollow part of a handle body 3 formed by laminating and connecting front and back covers 1 and 2. The capacitance sensor 4 is turned into a unit by covering a detection circuit and an electrode with an outer shell member formed of a synthetic resin material. On one of the front and back covers 1 and 2, a housing recessed part 6 formed by partition walls 5 is formed. The capacitance sensor 4 is housed inside the housing recessed part 6 and is fixed by a potting agent 7 for preventing the intrusion of water droplets to the bottom wall part of the housing recessed part 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
