<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleanable tatami facing capable of preventing a foreign odor from being emitted from a tatami mat in a Japanese-style room in an inn or a hotel, in a judo hall and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A material having carbon fibers 101 spirally wound around a hollow fiber membrane 100 is utilized for a tatami facing in place of rush straws. Air permeability of the hollow fiber membrane 100 and a deodorization effect of the carbon fibers 101 prevent emission of a foreign odor. Even when the foreign odor is emitted, the tatami facing can be cleaned. In addition, since the carbon fibers 101 are resistant to heat, they do not burn or scorch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
