<p>An example method for implementing communications session continuity is provided. The example method may include causing a message to be sent, from a user equipment, requesting a codec. In this regard, the user equipment may be connected to a circuit switched access network. The example method may further include receiving a response including at least an indication of the codec, and causing bearer resources to be reserved. The codec may be used for communications via a bearer that is established with the bearer resources. The example method may further include causing a handover operation from the circuit switched access network to a packet switched access network subsequent to reservation of the bearer resources. Other related example methods, apparatuses, computer programs, and computer program products are also provided.</p> |
