<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an explosive substance detection unit with enhanced accuracy of determining whether a person carries an explosive substance or not. <P>SOLUTION: A sampling part 3 takes a sample of the air around an operation part on which a user performs operations of inputting his/her ID. A density detection part 4 detects the density of an explosive substance included in the air which is sampled by the sampling part 3 while the user is inputting his/her ID. As for a user regarding whom the density detection part 4 detects the explosive substance density is above a first threshold value X, a control part 2 determines that the user carries the explosive substance. As for a user regarding whom the density detection part 4 detects the explosive substance density is below a second threshold value Y, which is lower than the first threshold value X, the control part 2 determines that the user does not carry the explosive substance. As for a user regarding whom the density detection part 4 detects the explosive substance density is between the first threshold value X and the second threshold value Y, the control part 2 determines that it is necessary to make a re-determination regarding him/her and requires the user to perform operations of re-inputting his/her ID. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
