摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a signal-to-noise ratio. <P>SOLUTION: A multiplexer amplifies signal light by inputting the signal light and excitation light in an erbium doped fiber (EDF). A wavelength information acquisition unit acquires wavelength information indicating the wavelength of the signal light. An EDF output determination unit and an output control unit control output power of the EDF on the basis of the wavelength information acquired by the wavelength information acquisition unit.
