<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that exerts superior ice performance in a new state while, after a wear state, exerts favorable dry performance and ice performance. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes a plurality of blocks 10 in a tread surface thereof. The block 10 includes: a base block 11 including a wall surface 11a erected from the groove bottom of main grooves and transverse grooves, and a top surface 11b formed around the block 10 lower than a tread; a small block 12 including a wall surface 12a erected from the top surface 11b of the base block 11 and separated into a plurality of divisions by a thin groove 13 having a groove depth D2 equal to or smaller than a depth D1 from the tread of the block 10 to the top surface 11b of the base block 11; and a sipe 14 formed by being extended in a depth direction from the groove wall or the groove bottom of the thin groove 13 and entering the base block 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
