The method involves synchronizing internal alternating-current (AC) voltage to an AC network (1) by self-sufficient units (3-6) of an AC voltage source (8) when AC voltage is present in a predefined area on the AC network. A testing is made to check whether the AC voltage of the AC network is changed corresponding the internal AC voltage. The AC voltage is provided in the predefined area on the AC network by using the internal AC voltage before connecting the self-sufficient units to the AC network over low impedance resistance. An independent claim is also included for an interface for independent connecting an AC alternating voltage sources with an AC mains.
