According to a process for producing closures, a sealing compound is applied and baked on the inner side of the closure. The process is characterized by the fact that the sealing mass applied contains: A) 20 to 95 weight % of at least a compound having in average more than two isocyanate groups per molecule and/or a diisocyanate prepolymer, the isocyanate groups being blocked; B) 1.5 to 30 weight % of at least a diamine and/or a polyamine; C) 0 to 78,5 weight % of at least a plastic and/or elastic and/or reactive organic polymer; D) 0 to 60 weight % of pigments and/or fillers; E) 0 to 50 weight % of one or several reactive diluents and F) 0 to 20 weight % of additives and process materials, the sum of the parts by weight of the components A to F being equal to 100 weight %. Also disclosed are closures produced according to the process described and packaging containers provided with such closures.
