<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum heat insulating material that can reduce manufacturing man-hour. <P>SOLUTION: Provided is the vacuum heat insulating material 1 in which the inside of a package material 3 storing a core material 2 is decompressed and an end part of the package material 3 is thermally welded at a welding part 3a.
