<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate equipment while maintaining COP (Coefficient Of Performance) even under frost forming conditions. <P>SOLUTION: A control device 30 estimates the density of frost by reading, from a table of a storage part, the density of frost corresponding to relative humidity measured by a humidity sensor 28 installed on the air sucked side of an evaporator 25 and to temperature measured by a temperature sensor 29. The control device 30 computes a fin blocking rate based on the estimated density of frost, and compares the fin blocking rate with a threshold computed beforehand. Until the fin blocking rate reaches the threshold, the control device 30 does not perform SH (the temperature difference of a refrigerant at an inlet 41 and an outlet 42 of the evaporator 25) control even in a frost forming time. After the fin blocking rate reaches the threshold, the control device 30 narrows the opening of an expansion part 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
