<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid brake device avoiding the change of braking characteristics by the leakage of magnetic viscous fluid. <P>SOLUTION: The brake rotational body 130 has the brake shaft 131 passing the casing 110 inward and outward and receives the brake torque according to the viscosity of the magnetic viscous fluid 140 by coming into contact with the magnetic viscous fluid 140 in the fluid chamber 114. The magnetic seal sleeve 170 arranged so as to surround the brake shaft 131 along the rotational direction in the casing 110 and forming the seal gaps 180, 181 communicating to the fluid chamber 114 between the brake shaft 131 and the magnetic seal sleeve, and generating a magnetic flux for guiding to the brake shaft 131 via the seal gaps 180, 181 has inner diameter changing parts 176, 177 in which the inner diameters enlargedly change from the outside to the inside of the casing 110 in both the ends in a shaft direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
