<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a standing-up assisting device, which enables an assist receiver to safely stand up without feeling uneasy. <P>SOLUTION: An electric cylinder 26 is covered with an outer casing 16 and an inner casing 22 vertically movable inside the outer casing 16, and a hugging tool 38 around which the assist receiver can throw his/her arms is provided at an upper portion of the inner casing 22. The hugging tool 38 includes an arm support 42 for supporting the portion extending from the elbow to the upper arm of the assist receiver. Since the posture hugging the hugging tool 38 is close the posture held by a helper, the assist receiver never has a sense of discomfort or uneasiness such that he/she is mechanically assisted. Further, since shaking or dislocation of the body in an assisted state can be reduced to stabilize the posture by hugging the hugging tool 38, the assist receiver can safely stand up. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
