<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content reference memory which can perform a retrieval operation promptly with low current consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A match amplifier (40) for detecting an electric potential of a match line comprises a precharge transistor (60) for precharging the match line to a ground voltage level, and a pull-up current supply/determination circuit (100) for supplying a current with a limited current value to the match line in a comparison operation for comparison with retrieved data, clamping the voltage level of the match line in the comparison operation, and producing a signal according to the voltage level of the match line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
