<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid dynamic bearing unit excellent in silence, manufacturable with high accuracy at low cost, easily assembled, and facilitating setting of a thrust bearing clearance, and an assemby method for the same. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is the fluid dynamic bearing unit wherein: an outer member 20 comprises an outside outer member 20a and an inside outer member 20b; a radial bearing surface 29R and one side of a thrust bearing surface 23T are formed on the inside outer member 20b; the other side of the thrust bearing surface 22T is formed on the outside outer member 20b; and at least those parts of an inner member 10 which form a radial bearing surface 11R and thrust bearing surfaces 12T, 13T are composed of sintered metal. An inner surface 21 of the outside outer member 20a is fitted to and assembled with an outer surface 27 of the inside outer member 20b; and convex temporary fixing parts 21a, 27a are provided to at least one of the inner surface 21 of the outside outer member 20a, and the outer surface 27 of the inside outer member 20b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
