<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the safety of an electric heating type lighter and to facilitate cleaning of a heating wire. <P>SOLUTION: The electric heating type lighter including the heating wire, a battery and an energizing switch for lighting the tip of a cigarette and energizing the heating wire from the battery through the energizing switch is equipped with a tip guide hole 10 looking into the heating wire 14w, and an energization operator for operating to close the energizing switch 11, in the exposed state on the upper face side of outer cases 5, 18. The electric heating type lighter further includes: an upper cover 1 covering the tip guide hole and the energization operator; a first resilient member 3 driving the upper cover 1 into a rising open position in which the tip guide hole and the energization operator are exposed to the outside; locking members 2, 6 restricting the upper cover 1 into a falling closed position to cover the tip guide hole and the energization operator; and a second resilient member 7 forcing the locking members 2, 6 into the restricting position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
