A method for viewing web pages, applied to an electronic device is provided. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining a web page (S310); analyzing a specific classification of the web page according to a URL (Uniform Resource Locator) or contents of the web page (S320); retrieving a browsing setting of the specific classification from a style-template database, wherein the style-template database records at least the browsing setting of each of a plurality of classifications (S330); and viewing the web page according to the browsing setting (S340).
