SOLID TYPE BALLAST APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A solid-type ballast apparatus is provided to balance a floating marine structure with the weight of a steel block by installing the steel block inside a ballast space instead of ballast water. CONSTITUTION: A solid-type ballast apparatus comprises a ballast space(110), a steel block(120), and multiple brackets(130). The ballast space is formed in a ship body. The steel block is formed in a block shape through a casting process and is installed inside the ballast space. And the steel block balances a floating marine structure. The brackets are formed on the inner surface of the ballast space to support the side surface of the steel block.
