<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system in which power consumption is reduced by minimizing noise sensitivity of a sensing circuit and managing power for at least a part of circuitry. <P>SOLUTION: A communication system includes a set of nodes. Each node includes a transceiver interface and a digital system. The transceiver is connected between a communication channel and the digital system and modifies a transmission format and/or a transmission protocol into a sequence of bits recognized by one or more digital systems in the corresponding node.
