TREATMENT SYSTEM FOR BALLAST WATER

PURPOSE: A ballast water treating apparatus is provided to save costs required for manufacturing the apparatus by omitting the installation of pipe lines and a gas eliminating unit eliminating the discharge of total residual oxidant(TRO) of high concentration and hydrogen gas. CONSTITUTION: A ballast water treating apparatus includes a chamber(100) and a TRO generator(200). The chamber includes an inlet(110) and an outlet(120). The TRO generator generates TRO in the chamber. The TRO generator includes a flux adjusting part(210), an electrode part(220), a power supplying part, and an electrode protecting flat(230). The flux adjusting part adjusts the flux of ballast water. The electrode part generates oxidant containing TRO. The power supplying part supplies power to the electrode part. The electrode protecting flat protects the electrode part from external materials.
