PURPOSE: A transmitting/receiving method of control information and an apparatus thereof are provided to reduce delay by simplifying a process for acquiring information related to control information transmitted through a terminal. CONSTITUTION: A terminal searches an initial cell for being synchronized with a base station(S501). The terminal acquires specific system information by receiving a PDCCH(Physical Downlink Control Channel) and a PDSCH(Physical Downlink Control Channel) according to PDCCH information(S502). The terminal performs random access processes to the base station(S503-S506).
