Arrangement of a fixed window pane on a motor vehicle

A window pane (1) is provided on its edge with a bonded-on seal (5) made of rubber-elastic material. A number of attachment elements (6) are embedded in the seal (5). Said elements have an attachment part (7) which can be connected to the holding flange (3) of a window frame (2) and a receiving part (8) which embraces the pane edge. Said receiving part has a U-shaped cross-section, the wall sections (9, 10, 11) of which having a rubber receiving pocket (14, 16) and recesses (15). The rubber fits over the latter when the seal (5) is being sprayed onto the surface of the window pane (1) and, as a result, a flat adhesive bond is created in the region of the attachment elements (6) between the latter and the window pane (1).
