<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "disk device" which is capable of cleaning an objective lens provided on an optical head or a turn table holding a center hole of a disk efficiently in a short time and is also suitable for device miniaturization. <P>SOLUTION: A mechanism base 15 includes a lens cleaning member 100 and a table cleaning member 200. An objective lens 86a is moved to a cleaning position (n) and in such a state, a driving unit 14 is turned between a driving position (i) and a saving position (ii). In such turning, the objective lens 86a slides in contact with the lens cleaning member 100 and is cleaned by the lens cleaning member 100. Therefore, the objective lens 86a can be easily and efficiently cleaned.
