The arrangement has a front-side sensor element (205) upwardly running at an auxiliary closing edge (203) of a swingable sliding door for detecting clamping. An upwardly running sealing element (208) i.e. sealing lip, is arranged within the sensor element, where the sensor element and sealing element are separated from each other. The sensor element converts pressurization of the sensor element into an electric signal. The sensor element is arranged such that a gap (209) remains between an upwardly running edge (204) of a door opening and the sensor element in a closed condition of the door.
