The light emitting diode lamp has a LED base (12), where a LED unit is completely infused in stretchable sealing compounds (1,2). The sealing compounds are encapsulated by the formation of a contact surface (40) through multi-phase molding technology. The sealing compounds are selectively hardened, where the LED unit has water vapor resistant property. A supporting disk, particularly a glass support disk (8) is arranged between the sealing compounds. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a light emitting diode lamp. |
