FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protective lacquer compositions used to obtain protective films on the surface of articles, including articles with an irregular shape, made from aluminium alloys and steel via auto-deposition. The paint composition for auto-deposition on the surface of articles made from aluminium alloys and steel contains the following, wt %: lacquer KCH-0125 2.0-6.0; 25% aqueous ammonia solution 0.09-0.18; isopropyl alcohol 37.01-38.62; water 56.81-59.29. ^ EFFECT: achieving stability of autophoresis bath in wide time span, reduced run-off of the paint composition during hardening and obtaining quality thin lacquer coatings, as well as low toxicity of the paint composition for auto-deposition on the surface of articles made from aluminium alloys and steel, and reduced consumption of lacquer KCH-0125. ^ 1 tbl |
