A method for producing a carbon nanotubes incorporated cellulose nanocomposite comprises the first stage · preparation of a first solution, said solution being a solution of cellulose in a hydrophilic ionic liquid, characterised in that it comprises the following stages: · preparation of a second solution, said solution being a carbon nanotubessolution in a hydrophilic ionic liquid with addition of an anionic surfactant, · blending of the said first solution with the said second solution, which results in formation of the said nanocomposite, · precipitation of the said nanocomposite from solution using water. The invention comprises also a carbon nanotubes incorporated cellulose nanocomposite produced with this method.
