PURPOSE: A hot stamping molding apparatus and method for partial strength control are provided to improve the exterior quality of a molded product by partially heating and cooling upper and lower molds. CONSTITUTION: A hot stamping molding apparatus comprises an upper mold(100), a lower mold(200), a sensing unit, and a temperature controller. The upper mold comprises an upper low-temperature mold(110), an upper high-temperature mold(120), and an upper insulating member which is arranged between the upper low- and high-temperature molds for shielding heat. The lower mold comprises a lower low-temperature mold(210), a lower high-temperature mold(220), and a lower insulating member which is arranged between the lower low- and high-temperature molds for shielding heat. The sensing unit detects the temperatures of the upper and lower high-temperature molds. The temperature controller controls the temperatures of the upper and lower high-temperature molds in order to correct the temperatures measured by the sensing unit to a target temperature.
