Disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition which comprises N-(3-methoxy-5-methylpyrazin-2-yl)- 2-(4-[1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-yl]phenyl)pyridine-3-sulphonamide (depicted as compound I) with mannitol and microcrystalline cellulose. Also disclosed is the use of the pharmaceutical composition in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases and also in the treatment of cancer wherein the cancer is selected from prostate cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, ovarian cancer, bladder cancer and gastric cancer.
