PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system and a communication method that enable a base station apparatus to perform efficient scheduling when the base station apparatus notifies a mobile station apparatus of a plurality of downlink control formats in the same subframe and/or in a particular period.

SOLUTION: The mobile communication system comprises the base station apparatus and the mobile station apparatus. The base station apparatus notifies the mobile station apparatus of a plurality of downlink control formats including at least one downlink control information format including an instruction to transmit a sounding reference signal and a parameter in the same subframe. If a predetermined downlink control format of the plurality of downlink control formats includes the instruction to transmit a sounding reference signal and the parameter, the mobile station apparatus transmits a sounding reference signal set according to the parameter to the base station apparatus.
