<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronize a plurality of integrated circuit devices in variation timing of drive waveform when the plurality of integrated circuit devices are combined to drive one electro-optical panel. <P>SOLUTION: Each integrated circuit device comprises: a drive waveform generating unit that generates a set of drive waveform signals by sequentially selecting a plurality of sets of waveform values in accordance with a selection signal; a timing control unit that, when set as a master, generates and supplies to first and second terminals a clock signal and a trigger signal, respectively, and starts generation of the selection signal in synchronism with the clock signal when the trigger signal is activated or, when set as a slave, starts generation of the selection signal in synchronism with the clock signal supplied to the first terminal when the trigger signal supplied to the second terminal is activated; and a drive signal output unit that outputs a plurality of drive signals, to be supplied to an electro-optical panel, on the basis of displayed data and the set of drive waveform signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
