<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with a lock mechanism which allows size reduction without lowering the reliability of latching and unlatching operations by the lock mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: A connector with a lock mechanism comprises: a first head part 110; a plate-like base part 131 which covers a top surface 113 of the first head part 110; a supported part 132 whose one end is supported by the base part 131; first and second elastic parts 133 and 134 elastically extendable/contractable from/to the supported part in a first direction which is substantially perpendicular to a tip direction C and is along a plate surface of the base part 131; first and second arm base ends 135a and 136a which are extended from ends 133a and 134a of the first and second elastic parts 133 and 134 to an outer side of a side face of the first head part 110; first and second arm parts 135 and 136 which are extended in the tip direction C from the first and second arm base ends 135a and 136a; and first and second engaging parts which are erected on the first and second arm parts 135 and 136. The supported part 132 is positioned between the first elastic part 133 and the second elastic part 134.
