<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent design degradation due to exposure of a slide structure, in the slide type head rest of a vehicle seat, which slides a front side head rest in a height direction. <P>SOLUTION: The head rest 1 of the vehicle seat includes: a rear side head rest 10 which is fixed to a seat back 90; and a front side head rest 20 engaged so as to be freely slid in the height direction at both ends in width direction of the rear side head rest 10.
