<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method and control device of a PWM inverter which defines the number of phase having a changeable switching state as minimum to suppress occurrence of unnecessary switching loss. <P>SOLUTION: A control method of a PWM inverter according to the present invention comprises controlling a spacial vector of the PWM inverter while switching a selection of eight switch vectors V<SB POS="POST">0</SB>to V<SB POS="POST">7</SB>corresponding to each switching state of a three-phase two level type PWM inverter. The control method of the PWM inverter further comprises the steps of: previously making as a rule a combination of the switch vectors V<SB POS="POST">0</SB>to V<SB POS="POST">7</SB>in which the number of phase having a switching state that changes before and after switching the selection of the switch vectors V<SB POS="POST">0</SB>to V<SB POS="POST">7</SB>is 1; and selecting the switch vectors V<SB POS="POST">0</SB>to V<SB POS="POST">7</SB>which tracing a combination contained in the previously formed rule when selecting necessary switch vectors V<SB POS="POST">0</SB>to V<SB POS="POST">7</SB>for obtaining an optional output vector V<SB POS="POST">u</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
