<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of increasing productivity while securing holding force to a magnetic shielding plate and an image forming device equipped with the same. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device 14 comprises a first rotor 48, a second rotor 44, first cores 54 and 56 for forming a magnetic path through which a magnetic flux passes together with the first rotor 48, a second core 58 which is disposed between the first cores 54 and 56 and the first rotor 48 viewing from the magnetic path and is rotatable in a predetermined direction, a magnetic shielding plate 60 which is attached to the outer surface of the second core 58 and is positioned in the magnetic path according to the rotation of the second core 58 to shield or suppress the magnetic flux, and holding means for holding the magnetic shielding plate 60 on the outer surface of the second core 58. The magnetic shielding plate 60 extends along the outer surface and has a body part attached to the outer surface. The holding means comprises a protruding part protruding from the body part to the outer surface of the second core 58 in a rib state and a locking part which is formed on the outer surface of the second core 58 and is capable of locking the protruding part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
