<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling the operation of an air conditioner that: performs on/off control for a plurality of air conditioners so that the overall electricity consumption constantly stays within a limited electric power range; can maximally operate the air conditioners within the limited electric power range by allocating power to the air conditioners with no waste; and can achieve the use of a low electric power rate service and the efficient operation control of the plurality of air conditioners. <P>SOLUTION: The device for controlling the operation of an air conditioner includes: a limiting power value obtaining part 91 for obtaining a limiting power value; a priority order determination part 92 for determining priorities for each air conditioner 2; an operation demand signal determination part 93 for determining the presence or absence of any operation demand signal; a maximum electric power consumption value obtaining part 94 for obtaining the maximum electric power consumption value; an integrated value calculation part 96 for calculating the integrated value of the maximum electric power consumption value; an integrated value comparison part 97 for comparing the integrated value and the limiting power value; an operation control signal output part 98 for outputting an operation ON signal or an operation OFF signal; and an integrated value return part 99 for returning the integrated value to the previous integrated value when an integrated value exceeds the limiting power value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
