<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tourniquet enabling a pressure by a balloon expansion for pressing a punctured region at which bleeding is to be stopped to easily and repeatably be set at a suitable strength by providing a gap securement member thereon in advance and winding a strap body around a limb. <P>SOLUTION: The tourniquet 1 includes the strap 2 for being wound around a limb on the part at which bleeding is to be stopped, a curved plate 4 constructed with a more rigid material than that of the strap 2, a hook and loop fastener 3 (fixing means) for fixing the strap 2 in a wound condition, the balloon 5 coupled on the strap 2 and expanding with fluid injection, and a detachable round rod 10 (gap securement member). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
