<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuning fork type piezoelectric vibrating piece that allows a piezoelectric device using the tuning fork type piezoelectric vibrating piece to produce a small frequency change after a high-temperature test, and to provide the piezoelectric device. <P>SOLUTION: A tuning fork type piezoelectric vibrating piece (30) includes: a basal portion (31) formed of a piezoelectric material; a pair of vibrating arms (32) extending from an end of the basal portion (31) in a predetermined direction; and a pair of support arms (33) provided on outer sides of the vibrating arms (32) and extending from the basal portion (31) in a predetermined direction, each including a groove with a bottom surface or a through-hole (34).
