<p>Disclosed is a system for video monitoring based on an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS), which system comprises: a client end subsystem for monitoring, an IMS core control part, an application server subsystem and a front end subsystem for monitoring; wherein during the service logic processing thereof, the IMS core control part is responsible for routing and forwarding of an SIP signalling between the client end subsystem for monitoring, the application server subsystem and the front end subsystem for monitoring, and for establishing/removing a corresponding session. Accordingly, also disclosed is a method for video monitoring based on IMS. The present invention can realize a system and service for video monitoring based on IMS by providing the relationships and interfaces between the architecture, the division of functional entities, the functions of the functional entities and the functional entities in the system for video monitoring based on IMS, so that it is capable of embodying such technical advantages as IMS unified access control, convergence of various multimedia services, reliability in the multimedia service quality, etc.</p> |
