<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly determine existence of breakage of an interception bar based on current data of an electric motor driving the interception bar. <P>SOLUTION: A device for detecting breakage of interception bar of railroad crossing gate 2 for detecting breakage of the interception bar of a railroad crossing gate blocking a road intersecting a railroad in front of a railroad-crossing road by the interception bar driven by the electric motor, includes: a data collecting portion 3 for collecting time-series data of a current value of the electric motor when the interception bar is driven; an approximation operation portion 4 for calculating an approximation function of the time-series data; and an abnormality determining portion 6 for determining breakage of the interception bar based on whether the approximation function departs from a determination allowable range or not in a predetermined determination reference time, and exposes differences in time-series variation of the motor current due to the existence of breakage and differences in breakage states by the approximation function, so that breakage can be more exactly determined by pursuing detection precision of breakage by not only setting the determination allowable range but selecting a determination reference time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
