<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storage device capable of executing end processing even when there is an article not stored in a storage part. <P>SOLUTION: When all keys are already returned to the storage part in a key management unit (YES in step S32), a control part transmits a locking instruction to the key management unit (step S37). When (an authority of) a user who has logged in is a bank employee (NO in step S36), all the keys whose importance is "high" or "middle" are already returned and the key whose importance is "low" is not returned yet (YES in step S38), the control part transmits the locking instruction to the key management unit 21.
