<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loop heat pipe that facilitates installation of wicks overlapping in the radial direction. <P>SOLUTION: In this loop heat pipe, an evaporator 101 includes: an evaporator body 103 for evaporating working fluid; a liquid reservoir part 111 for accumulating working fluid in a liquid phase in the inside; an outer periphery wick 129 arranged in the evaporator body 103 for impregnating the working fluid toward the outer periphery by generating capillary force; an inner periphery wick 139 existing from the inside of the liquid reservoir part 111 to the inside of the evaporator body 103, arranged in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the liquid reservoir part 111 and the inner peripheral surface of the outer periphery wick 129, impregnating the working fluid toward the outer periphery wick 129 by generating capillary force, and deformable at least in the radial direction; and a first spring 133 supporting the inner periphery wick 139 to be pressed against the inner peripheral surface of the outer periphery wick 129. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
