摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superior organic EL display device which can prevent current from flowing from a second electrode to a connected electrode when a second organic compound layer emits light, causing a first organic compound layer to emit light, and is free of color drift and luminance degradation. <P>SOLUTION: A substrate 11 has a first electrode 12, a first organic compound layer 14, a second electrode 15, a second organic compound layer 16, and a third electrode 17 laminated thereon and includes a connecting electrode 12A to connect the third electrode 17 to a drive circuit. An electron injection layer EIL or a hole injection layer HIL adjoining the second electrode 15 is formed on the first organic compound layer 14 and/or the second organic compound layer 16.
