The invention relates to a device for ignition or warming by means of a chemical reaction. The device comprises at least two substances situated in at least two chambers separated by at least one partition. The mixing of the chemical substances (X and Y) upon removal of a movable partition (1) causes warming, which ignites the sulphur (8) of matches, or similar substances. A kindling means with a large combustion area requires uniform ignition across the entire surface thereof, which is achieved through the provision of a plurality of identical devices that are activated simultaneously. The device for warming without ignition can be used for domestic or medical purposes to produce heat, in particular, for compresses or vaccinations. In this case, there is no sulphur that ignites when the substances are mixed. Urea hydrogen peroxide and ferric chloride are proposed as the pair of substances (X and Y). In order to prevent burns to the hands of the user, a preferably red warning marking (9) is applied to the device. The technical result is that of providing for ignition.
